Emrich has more than 15 years of technical sales and marketing experience. After earning his BSEE from the University of Iowa in 1991, he joined General Electric’s corporate training program as a technical sales engineer. From his first position as an industrial sales engineer up to his present position as business development executive with FreeWave Technologies, Steve Emrich has been responsible for users in the following markets: gas distribution, electric utility, water/waste water, traffic control, public safety and railroad.
