WHAT: Building the Ideal Communication Network – Dan Paladino

Numerous communication technologies have been introduced into the market over the years all claiming to be the best and most reliable communication tool. How do you decide what truly is best for your situation, future expansion and the changing needs of your organization?

How can you utilize your current communication systems in combination with newly available products and technologies to create a near perfect solution while also reducing the likelihood of technology obsolescence?

This presentation focuses on creating the ideal communication network using a “Hybrid” approach to monitoring, controlling, pushing network capability to the extreme. Attendees will learn how to integrate various communication options to create a robust and reliable system to meet their specific requirements.

Demystifying Wireless Ethernet – Brent McAdams

One of the newest trends in data communication is migrating from serial networks to Ethernet communications. The advantages of the switch are too compelling to ignore. Security, faster polling times, mobile communications, Internet accessibility and IP addressability all provide benefits previously unavailable with serial communications.

The world of wireless Ethernet still is new enough that a lot of myths are associated with it and for many, sorting through this maze of misinformation can be daunting, even unnerving. This presentation will address some of the biggest myths surrounding the implementation of wireless Ethernet.
