IO Expansion Module
Expand your wireless IO network with the new, scalable FreeWave IO Expansion Module. The IO Expansion Module may either be stacked on an applicable IO radio or can serve as an expandable remote IO solution through a serial connection. Regardless of the configuration, up to 16 modules may be stacked on the radio or base module. The IO Expansion Module is UL Approved, Class 1 Division 2, and adds significant flexibility to an existing Modbus IO network as depicted below.

- User Configurable, Universal IO: You select the combination of analog and digital points to meet your specific application requirements
- Scalable Modular Expansion: Up to 16 modules per stack and as many as 192 IO points (12 IO points per module)
- Standalone Capability: Significantly increases IO count for an RTU or PLC through an available serial connection
- Compatibility: Compatible with existing FreeWave networks
- Reliability: Same quality, performance and rigorous testing as all FreeWave products
